HOW TO BUY MARIJUANA CLONES ONLINE

Before you buy marijuana clones online, the listing itself tells you almost everything, if you know which five things to look for.

Is buying clones online even legal?

It depends entirely on where you live, and it is your responsibility to know. Home cultivation is legal in a long list of states, each with its own plant count, and illegal in others. Clones are living cannabis plants, so the rules that apply to growing apply to buying them.

Check your state's home grow limit before you order anything. A nursery cannot make your grow legal.

Check for HLVd testing first

This is the single highest-value thing on any listing. Hop latent viroid is widespread, incurable and shaves roughly 30 percent off yield and potency with almost no visible symptoms in veg.

If a seller does not mention testing, assume they do not test. One infected clone contaminates a room through shared tools, so this is not a detail to shrug at.

What size should a rooted clone be?

A real rooted clone should arrive somewhere around 8 to 12 inches tall with an established root system in its plug. That is a plant you can transplant within the week.

Be skeptical of listings that will not say. Unrooted cuttings and two-inch plugs are a different product with a much higher failure rate, and some sellers are deliberately vague about which one you are buying.

How should clones be packaged?

Individually, upright, with the root plug secured so it does not shake loose, and labeled with the strain name. Strain labeling matters more than it sounds: if you order four different cuts and they arrive as four unlabeled plants, you have four mystery plants.

Ask about transit time. Clones handle two to three days in a box. Beyond that the failure rate climbs no matter how good the packing is.

What about live arrival and replacements?

Look for a stated policy and read what it requires from you. Nearly every nursery wants a photograph of the problem plant, usually within a short window of delivery, and most will only replace the same strain rather than swap it for something else.

Take the photos the day the box lands even if you are not sure there is a problem. A picture from day one is worth far more than a description on day five.

Read the shipping window, not the marketing

Nurseries cut to order more often than people realize, so a listing showing stock does not always mean a plant is boxed and waiting. Honest sellers give you a window, and a two week outside estimate is normal for cut-to-order stock.

Everything in our catalog of marijuana clones for sale shows the price and holding nursery on the card, and the buy button goes directly to that nursery so you are reading their current stock rather than a stale copy of it.

Testing, rooted size, labeled packaging, a written replacement policy and an honest shipping window. Five things. A seller who is clear on all five is usually clear on everything else too.

COMMON QUESTIONS

How are marijuana clones shipped?
Individually secured and upright, with the root plug protected and the strain labeled, typically arriving within two to three days of dispatch.
What should I check before buying clones online?
HLVd testing, rooted height around 8 to 12 inches, strain-labeled packaging, a written live arrival policy, and a realistic shipping window.
Do clones survive shipping?
Rooted clones handle two to three days in transit well. Beyond that, survival rates fall regardless of packaging quality.
